Kotak Mahindra Bank Keeps Nifty Private Bank Index In The Green

Buoyed by strong gains in Kotak Mahindra Bank NSE 6.10 % (up 5.61 per cent), the Nifty Private Bank index was trading 0.52 per cent up at 14,669 on Wednesday, while the Nifty PSU Bank index was 1.61 per cent down. Shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank got traction after the bank on Monday posted a rise of 27 per cent in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,789.24 crore for the quarter ended March 31.
