Pace Research Closing Bell : Sensex Ends On Somber Note, Nifty Above 9500

The Sensex closed up 23.20 points at 30857.52, while the Nifty ended 12.85 points higher at 9504.10. The market breadth was positive as 1597 shares advanced against a decline of 980 shares, while 162 shares were unchanged.
