Sensex Lower, Nifty Midcap Hits Record High; Glenmark Loses 3%

Benchmark indices remained mildly under pressure but the broader markets continued to outperform, with the Nifty Midcap index hitting a record high.
The 30-share BSE Sensex was down 49.50 points at 33,674.94 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 10.60 points to 10,388.90.
