Asian Shares Fall Ahead Of G7 Summit, ECB & US Federal Reserve Meetings

Asian shares were moderately lower Friday, as investors awaited the Group of Seven leaders’ meeting, continuing into the weekend, and for European Central Bank and Federal Reserve meetings next week.
Japan’s benchmark Nikkei 225 shed less than 0.1 percent to 22,813.58 in early trading. Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 inched down less than 0.1 percent to 6,056.00. South Korea’s Kospi lost 0.4 percent to 2,460.14.
