Japan equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic, Real Estate N500 Real Estate and Warehousing sectors propelled shares lower. At the close in Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 0.08%.The biggest gainers of the session on the Nikkei 225 were Nippon Sheet Glass Co., Ltd, which rose 2.81% or 28.0 points to trade at 1024.0 at the close. Toshiba Corp. added 2.28% or 7.0 points to end at 314.5 and Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. was up 1.99% or 95.0 points to 4880.0 in late trade.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 1826 to 1499 and 240 ended unchanged on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
