Equity benchmarks remained sluggish in morning trade as investors eagarly awaited exit polls for assembly elections that ended yesterday.

Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, GAIL were the top losers on the index, while Asian Paints, SBI and Axis Bank gained the most on both the indices.
