Sensex surges over 200 points, Nifty at record high

BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, index opened in green on Friday following mixed global cues. The 50-share NSE Nifty index hit its fresh all-time high level in opening trade and opened 54.10 points, or 0.59 per cent, up at 9,207.80. 
The 30-share BSE Sensex advanced over 200 points in opening trade, but pared most gains soon after. At 9.30 am, the benchmark index was trading 122 points higher at 29,708.51.
