Sensex, Nifty Hit Fresh Record High; Bharti Twins Drop, Adani Ports Up 4%

Benchmark indices made record high levels at the opening bell, led by strong positive momentum seen on daily charts and better-than-expected rollovers to November futures and options series contracts. At 9.22 am, the BSE Sensex was trading 67.19 points, or 0.20 per cent, higher at 33,214.32. The index hit a all-time high of 33270.62 in the opening trade. The Nifty50 was trading at 10,347.50, up 3.70 points, or 0.04 per cent. The index hit a all-time high of 10,366.15 in early trade. Bharti Airtel and Bharti Infratel plunged 4-6 percent.
